MEP Testing and Validation Services covers the validation of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services within the building. This includes setting up the work and regulation of the systems with reference to the design criteria. Site visits shall be initiated to prepare the project schedule. All drawings shall be verified and approved for commissioning .Any snag found shall be recorded and project team will be informed/directed to carry out the rectification works, subsequently. A detail project specific method statement with ITP shall be prepared and test sheets will be prepared for approval. P.E’s in-house commissioning and tracking program shall be prepared in coordination with the construction program. The commissioning process includes static pre commissioning, which is carried out prior to setting to work. Pre-commissioning tests shall be carried out to ensure that all the systems are performing as per the design. The complete system shall be reviewed for performance and suggestion/ recommendation made provided to the client
A typical sequence of works as follows:
- Method statement with ITP for Commissioning.
- Preparation of commissioning program.
- Pre-Commissioning for all the systems.
- Commissioning for all the systems.
- Performance testing of system equipment.
- Preparation of Detailed Reports.
- Demonstration to the Accepting Authority.
All commissioning works are carried out in accordance with the CIBSE and BSRIA Commissioning Codes together with the ASHRAE, NEBB codes of practice as applicable and all instrumentation is regularly tested and calibrated to national standards.
